Robert J. Giannetta, President

Robert J. Giannetta is a retired New York Police Department officer with over twenty years of distinguished service. Throughout his exemplary career, Mr. Giannetta has received awards for bravery and other recognition. He was chosen as one of five NYPD representatives to visit Japan in a cultural and professional exchange program to study Koban, a system of small neighborhood police offices, and study the feasibility of implementing this strategy in America. He has been given the Award of Exceptional Merit for acts of bravery in the line of duty. Most notably, Mr. Giannetta has received training from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to deal with level C contaminants. This comprehensive course outlines the complexities of chemical, biological, and radiological ordnance.

In 2004, Mr. Giannetta established and is President of Blue Perimeter Inc, a Watch Guard/Investigative Company. Some Corporate clients include Salvatore Ferragamo, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Crosby Hotel, Jacob and Company, ING Bank and Rose Associates. He has served as Director of Security for the St. Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue for over eighteen years where his responsibilities include assuring the safety of the world renowned St. Thomas Boys Choir.

Sports commentators Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, James Brown and Jimmy Johnson of Fox NFL Sunday and Joe Buck travel with a security team comprised of Mr. Giannetta and his associates. Mr. Giannetta has provided security for many actors and has been an actor himself, portraying a police officer in episodes of NYPD Blue and One Life to Live. He coordinated the security for Robert DeNiro's surprise 50th birthday party and during the run of The Producer's on Broadway, provided executive security for Mel Brooks and Ann Bancroft, as well as Jennifer Jason Leigh during her run of Proof on Broadway.

Born in New York City, Mr. Giannetta graduated from SUNY Cortland with a major in Sociology and a double minor in Criminology and Gerontology. He is an active member of the Masonic chapter, Independent Royal Arch Lodge #2. Salvatore Giannetta, Robert's father, served as a respected NYPD Police Officer. Richard Giannetta, Robert's brother, worked with him as a Police Officer in the Midtown North Manhattan precinct. Mr. Giannetta has established relationships in the community based on integrity and respect.
